• LEAF PICKUP PROGRAM

This program will begin on Monday, October 27, 2008 and end on Friday, December 19, 2008. Leaves will be picked up per the following schedule:

The 4-way stop will be the middle location of town.

Monday – East & West streets in the Southwest section of town
Tuesday –North & South streets in the Southwest section of town
Wednesday – Northwest section of town
Thursday – Northeast & Southeast sections of town
Friday – The Briars & catch up day if needed

The pickups will begin at 7:00 a.m. and each residence will only be passed by once. The Village Maintenance Department will pickup leaves ONLY (no sticks, limbs, bottles or trash should be mixed with the leaves). If the leaves are not out when the Village passes that week, they will not be picked up. Please do not call and ask for special pickups. The only way to do this in an equitable fashion is to pass by everyone’s residence only once. During times of heavy leaf pickup the Village will do their best to adhere to the schedule, but may run behind at certain periods.

• Direct Debit - "FREE * FREE * FREE"

Sign up now for Water/Sewer/Trash bills. Payments will be deducted from checking/savings accounts on the due date. Save money by eliminating check writing, postage, gas for drop off of payments, and late payment fees! You will still receive your bill in the mail stating the amount and date of the deduction. Signing up is as easy as completing the back of the water/sewer/trash bill or filling out the following form. Any questions, please call the Village Office at 476-1514. (Click here for form)

• NEW - Occupancy Permits/St. Clair County Property Inspections

Effective November 1, 2007 the Village of Millstadt will require owner/renter occupancy permits and St. Clair County inspections to be completed for all residential properties (single or multi-family). Please call the Village Office at 476-1514, for additional information.

• Veteran's Recognition Program

We are extremely indebted to our military service men and women. Many of these loyal individuals are members of our very own community. As a thank you for all that they have done for us and our country, we would like to recognize these military personnel at a Village Board Meeting.

Do you have a relative, friend, or know of anyone who lives within the Village of Millstadt or Millstadt Township that is currently in the military or has recently separated from service within the last year? If someone you know meets this criteria, please call the Village Office at 476-1514.

• Trash Pickup/Holiday Schedule

Trash must be at the curb by 6:00am on Wednesdays. Waste Management holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas. If any of these holidays fall on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday - trash will be picked up on Thursday.
